Safe Chemicals Act of 2011 (S. 847) - Supported the legislation which would create a chemical management system that effectively regulates potential hazards and provides stronger protections to human and environmental health.
Urged Congress to oppose any attempt to overturn or delay the Environmental Protection Agencys final Mercury and Air Toxics Standards (MATS).
S. 2193 - Ensuring Safe Medical Devices for Patients Bill - Supported the legislation which will help protect the safety of patients, reduce medical errors and strengthen the ability of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and manufacturers to monitor adverse events.

Urged Congress to reject any proposals to address the looming fiscal cliff which reduce or eliminate Medicaid provider assessments.
Urged Congress to reconsider a Medicare cut to hospitals that would that would cap total payment for non-emergency department evaluation and management (E/M) services at the rate paid to physicians for providing the services in their offices.
Urged Congress to reject restrictions on states use of Medicaid provider assessments.
FY 2013 proposed budget - Urged the Administration to reconsider blended federal Medicaid payments to states, limiting Medicaid provider taxes, cutting funds for training physicians and other health care professionals, reducing Medicare Bad Debt Payments, and rebasing Medicaid Disproportionate Share Hospital (DSH) Payments.
H.CON.RES.112 - Urged Congress to reject the massive $810 billion in proposed cuts to Medicaid in the FY2013 House budget resolution.
