Legislation in both the House and Senate to establish a national renewable electricity standard. Specific bills lobbied include HR 890, American Renewable Energy Act ; S. 826, American Renewable Energy Act of 2009; and S. 433, a bill to amend the Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act of 1978 to establish a renewable energy standard and for other purposes. Electricity transmission legislation in both the House and Senate, including provisions dealing with the cost allocation, siting and
interconnection-wide planning. Specific bills lobbied include S. 774, National Energy Security Act of 2009, Division A, Title I and S. 539, Clean Renewable Energy and Economic Development Act. Legislation in the House and Senate to reform the DOE Loan Guarantee program. Bills include HR 1, American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, Sec. 406 Resolving potential conflicts between wind farms and federally owned radars, including radars of interest to DOD, FAA, DHS and NOAA.
