Energy and Water Development Appropriations Act - Department of Energy research programs- Increased funding for Office of Science. In support of funding for Stripper Well Consortium
Labor, Health and Human Services and Education Appropriations - Increased funding for the Department of Health and Human Services including National Institutes of Health research programs; Poison Control Centers and programs for teaching and research at academic medical centers - Department of Education -- increased funding for student financial aid; education research; international education; graduate education; and higher education programs for disadvantaged students including TRIO and Migrant Education.
Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration and Related Agencies Appropriation - Title I - Cooperative State Research, Education and Extension Service - increased funding for Hatch Act, McIntire-Stennis, Smith-Lever, and Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program, and in support of Penn State Special Research Grants.
